These prices are effective August 28, 2018, but, are subject to change without notice.  The goods and services listed are those we can provide to our customers.  You may choose only the items you desire.  Any funeral arrangements you select, however, will include a charge for our basic services and overhead (Services of funeral director and staff).  If legal or other requirements necessitate the purchase of any item(s) you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services that you select.  This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery services, flowers, and newspaper notices.  These items will be shown on your bill or on the statement that we provide.  This list does not include all costs for final disposition that you may be required to pay.  
Services of Funeral Director and Staff $3,095
 Our fee includes, but is not limited to: staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparations and submission of obituary notices; staff assistance prior to, during, and following the funeral, including coordination with those providing other added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, direct burial, forwarding remains, and receiving remains.
Embalming $1,295
 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as viewing or shipping remains via common carrier. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose arrangements which do not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or direct burial.

Receiving Remains from another Funeral Home $1,545
 This fee includes temporary shelter of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory, and necessary services of funeral director and staff. This fee does not include visitation or funeral ceremony.
Forwarding Remains to another Funeral Home $1,845
 This fee includes necessary services of funeral director and staff, removal of remains, embalming, and transportation to Pittsburgh International Airport.
Direct Cremation $2,195  more info
